Community Care

At The LDM Group, we share the same values and passion of lending a helping hand to those affected by the woes of life and facing struggles. Each year we adopt, personalize and act as stewards to those in need. We collect donated items, purchase products, package and deliver to the homeless living on the streets and to struggling families with children.

Ready…Set….Give

The LDM Group is sponsoring a fundraiser to adopt up to 5 randomly selected individuals needful of a “Helping Hand” due to loss of jobs/wages and hard times to include those directly impacted by COVID19. Funds will be equally distributed to the selected families in the form of Gift Cards (MC/VISA/AMEX) to aid in purchasing food, paying utility bills and securing/maintaining residency. Contact hr@ldm-grp.com for additional details and to nominate a friend, a family, a relative or a colleague.

We will continue to deliver “Care Bags” to the homeless in DMV and Houston areas. Owed to last year’s success, we have bags on hand ready for pickup by volunteers to deliver.  Contact hr@ldm-grp.com.

Our Involvement

2006 – Ongoing

Pay it forward! Each October, The LDM Group begins planning fundraising and volunteering ideas. We reach out to our staff, colleagues, client-partners and friends to recruit volunteers to support various causes. We randomly adopt families facing temporary crises, single parents who lost their job and/or homeless living on the streets. We also arrange for the elderly to receive care packages and support programs such as Susan G. Komen Race for the Care, Toys for Tots, So Others Might Eat, Adopt a Soldier, Safe House for battered Women and others.

In the recent years, The LDM Group has provided support for:

  • A family who lost everything in a fire. We collectively donated clothes to the mother and her 3 children, which included, shoes, school supplies, furniture, food and other items to aid in rebuilding their lives.
  • Numerous families (with children) stricken with the loss of income due to job layoffs, divorces or other personal crises. We provided gift certificates, groceries cards, gas cards, clothing items, Christmas toys and gifts.
  • Uncountable homeless people living on the streets in the DMV and Houston areas. We prepared large zip lock bag “care packages” filled with hats, gloves, socks, heat warmers, nonperishable foods, toothbrushes, tooth paste, personal hygiene products and more.
  • Sponsored “GoFund Me” fundraiser in support of a family whose head-of-household had been hospitalized for an extended amount of time due to a life threatening accident.
  • The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure: Each year, the LDM team in the Washington DC area raises funds for the organization and participates in the annual 5k run/walk
